I just built my new PC, got everything hooked up. But it wont turn on. I checked the list of troubleshooting a PC that wont turn on, it did not help me. I did not use an anti static wristband, but i grounded myself often throughout the built by touching the case.

Specs:

Asus GTX 780
FX-8320
Corsair CX 600M
NZXT Lexa s
Gigabyte 990XA-UD3
8192 mb of ram
2 tb of memory

I had alot of trouble with connecting the front panel, it seems perfectlly fine, altouh i highly expect it to be the problem. Might also be my psu.

If nothing at all happens when you press power then you either failed to get the power switch properly connected or else the power supply is turned off. There is an on/off switch on the rear of the PSU. Do you see any lights on the motherboard at all? And do the fans spin even momentarily?

Make sure you have an 8 or 4 pin power cable plugged into the 12v 4x2 hole near the CPU too. If this is your first time building a modern PC then it's easy to overlook that there are two motherboard power sockets.
