I started building my PC after extensive research here and other places across the web, gathered all the parts over the last 2 months and I have finally come across building the computer, for it to not boot up,

Components;

New;
Pentium G4560
Corsair CX550M PSU
MSI B250M Pro-VD
Bitfenix Nova Case

Pre-Owned; all from CeX and have had some issues with hardware at Cex before.

1TB WD Blue HDD
GTX 960 (2GB)
Crucial 1 x 8GB 2400 Mhz RAM

I have warranty on all of the things listed above, used of not, so I can get a refund, just need to see what is playing up on me if anything.

There was only 4 bad encounters in my PC build, as far as I am aware, and some of them are obviously not the reason why my PC is booting up.

I could not find the fan header connection for the pre-installed case fans, I looked online and nothing was there, not in the manual, I definitely need help on this even if it has nothing to do with not booting up, want to keep the temps low and the settings high!

I missed the CPU placement and the pins touch a little bit off where the CPU socket is placed, however I did not drop it just gently placed it and 1/4 of the CPU was not placed correctly, however this was immediately fixed and nothing looked broken at the time.

My case had a HD audio wire however I could not find a place for it to go so it is not connected to my motherboard, obviously presuming this is not the reason why it is not working.

I had to take of the metal by the GPU ports, as some of it was in the way however it is holding up fine and still in the PCI-E slot.

When I attempted to turn on my computer, nothing happened, no fans span, no leds popped up, nothing on my monitor screen. I double checked everything I knew of was in the right place, and I think it was OK, but this is most likely what is causing the issue.

I have double checked the PSU was connected, and the switch was on, tried a few different plugs for the PSU and nothing, still was happening, I had the windows media on a USB and pressed several buttons including F11 and Delete when trying to boot up my system, again nothing was responsive.

My monitor is 100% alright, don't know what is playing up on me, if anyone owns the motherboard I have it'd be great to see where everything is plugged in, or if they know of a map because some of the things are not shown on the manual.

Thank you for your support and I hope to see you all around the PC community (if I can get mine to work....)

The very first thing I'd do is make sure the pc power button is connected correctly to the motherboard? Even I sometimes plug those tiny little wires in the wrong spot. You can get the manual on the msi site here Every mobo has a different setup for those tiny pin headers. The only important one is the one wired to the power button. The hdd light and reset switch is secondary. Since you purchased much of it used, the board could be faulty. it's iffy buying used intel boards as a ton of them have bent cpu pins but even then, it should still try to boot.

I did not buy my motherboard used, just my GPU, HDD and RAM.

UPDATE; my PC fans are spinning after connecting the speaker and double checking every component, but nothing is showing up on my screen. Is there a button I have to spam as I turn on my computer or not, I have the windows plugged in on a USB flash drive and still nothing is coming up! The fans are also extremely loud if there is a way to fix this.

This may seem like a dumb question but I don't know how experienced you are so here it goes lol. Do you have the video cable plugged into the right spot? It should be hooked up to the videocard, not the back of the motherboard.
