Trying to fix my son's gaming PC, which won't boot.
Everything powers up, fans, USB ports etc, but that's it, not even a post beep.
I thought it was was the motherboard had bricked as this happened shortly after performing a bios upgrade, but I have replaced the motherboard and still same issue, so that was a waste of money.
It has 2 RAM sticks, and I have removed each of them to see if they were at fault.
I have disconnected all SATA devices to rule them out.
I assume the PSU is ok, since the system is powering up.
So that just leaves the CPU. Is there any way for me to verify this other than buying another CPU?
