Hello, I have recently just built a PC, and everything looks good. When turnt on, all the fans and LEDS turn on, and everything seems in place. Though, the problem is when connected to the monitor through both HDMI and VGA (both have been tested separately) the PC simply doesn't appear on the display. No boot menu appears that lets me open the bios, and the PC simply gives no signal to the monitor. I suspect it is something with the motherboard, because I have tested it with two different monitors, both with the same result. The motherboard is an Asus H170 with an LGA 1151 CPU socket. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

No, this mobo does not have Debud LEDs. You will need to install beeper on motherboard. Since booting CPU+RAM only not work, next step is CPU only without RAM, but you need beeper for that. The pc will not post in this configuration, but if it beeps, we will know CPU is ok.

Yes, I have a gigabyte gtx 1050 GPU and the HDMI is connected from the GPU to the monitor (but I have also tried the mobo but with the same results)

Also one more thing I forgot to mention, the mobo came with a disc, and in the manuel says you are supposed to use the disc to restore the bios. The problem is my tower does not have an optical drive, so if this is the case do you think I should just buy a USB disc drive and using the disc will work?

remove the gpu, and all hard drives. make sure only 1 ram stick is in the correct slot as listed in the motherboard manual, do not assume it's slot 1. try booting the pc up then and see if you get a display.

as long as everything is connected correctly, that basically leaves you with motherboard or psu as the problem.

only other thing you can try is resetting the CMOS

you have your 24pin power connector, and 8or4pin cpu power connector plugged into the motherboard I assume?

Ik for a fact it is not the the mother board because this is my second in the past two days and LEDS are completely lit and fans are operating but idk it may be the power supply
