PC wont detect second monitor?

i have it plugged in via my gpu but it just says no signal, nvidia control panel nor my windows settings wont detect it

i have an msi twin frozr gtx 760 and have one hdmi (the one that works) and one display port to hdmi as my monitors only have hdmi and my gpu only has one hdmi output, after some more testing it is either the gpu output or the cable that isnt working as if i swap the cables between monitors, it works.

Sometimes you have to use active DP adapters to get them to work.

did you tryied your monitor alone, i mean, the second one that you say that your pc doesn't recgonize?

i had a problem with a monitor and horizontal flickering interference lines and an active adapter from vga to dvi-d solved it
