Hi I'm luke,

I have a PCfrom PC world and was using it for a while then one day it started to turn its self on and off when I was running tasks and then it got worse over time until it was unable to run so I researched it and people were saying it would be a problem with the CPU as the CPU fan got disconnected so I took it out and replaced it with my brothers CPU and that worked for a while until it happend again and so I check the mother board for bent pins and there were a few so I tried bending them back and now when a new CPU is put in it does not boot everything turns on (fans ect) but nothing shows up on the monitor and the same is happing on my brothers PC that I took the CPU out of any suggestions?!?

Thanks Luke

Nope you have to change your PSU, motherboard, as well as CPU. And there's still a probability that your RAM and Hard drives also got damaged. But first try replacing them. And dont put a new CPU in ur old motherboard it will short that also. And I think maybe you put the CPU in wrong socket which just shorted it. Bro, remember that a CPU can only be used in a speicific motherboard. If you try to use unsupported CPUs in a motherboard then it will short it ofcourse.
For example, you have to get a Z97 motherboard for your i7 4770k processor.

In that case you either have to know from the person who bought it or I can just give suggestions on assumptions. Mostly , I think only your PSU was damaged first then you bent your Motheboard pins which damaged motherboard and CPU both by touching wrong pads and shorting it the bad way. I can give a clear reason only if you tell me full specs.
