PC won't display to monitor

I've read though a ton of different threads and haven't found much. My cpu is working, it gets hot when I turn it on. I've tried hooking up the display to my GPU and my motherboard, nothing. I've tried with only 1 ram stick in many different spots, nothing. Nothing that I do can seem to get a signal from the computer to the monitor. Please let me know if you have any ideas.

Does your monitor have multiple inputs? If so, make sure the right one is selected as some do not automatically detect a connected device.

Yeah, thats not the issue, i've checked
