I previously had a ASUS H110M-R Motherboard with a I7-6700.

Today I replaced them with a MSI Carbon Z270 ATX Motherboard and a i7 6700k.

It won't boot at all, not fans, no black screen, nothing.

I don't know much about PC's but off the top of my head the issues I can think of that may be causing this are :

When I applied the Thermal paste I may have put too much on, and as this was my first time something may have gone wrong with the CPU fan during then.

The CPU / Motherboard were both used, and I asked the seller if z270 boards worked with i7 6700ks, as I wasn't sure they did.

Please help, anything would be appreciated.

Sorry I was trying my best to explain, but essentially the cables that have CPU on them, that go from your power supply into your motherboard, I think I put them in the wrong way around
