PC Wont Find New Hard Drive in Disk Management

Hey all,

I have recently got a new hard drive a western digital 2 tb hard drive (http://www.amazon.co.uk/WD-Desktop-SATA-Drive-Green/dp/B008YAHW6I/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1399477271&sr=8-3&keywords=2+tb+hard+drive) <<< My new hard drive

I have plugged in all ready to go I turn my pc and I know I have to go into disk management and set a letter to the hard drive. But when I go into the disk management tool I cant see my hard drive there. I checked in my device manager to see if it was even recognizingthe hard drive and it was there...

Hi,

Have you tried to Rescan Disks in Disk management? Actions>Rescan Disks.
