My PC has been fully functional for about a year and a half. I'm running an Oc'd 4790k, 16gb 1866mhz Ram and 2 970s on a corsair hx750 PSU. Everything worked perfectly fine up until a few days ago. Firstly, the GPU would not wake up my monitor. The rig turned on but in order for me to get an image on the display out of sleep i would have to unplug the display port cable and plug it back in. No big deal? But then my main storage drive started reporting SMART errors. It was detected in BIOS but wouldn't appear in windows. After a few restarts things seemed to fix themselves. Except this morning now i turn on the PC and only the front 2 fans as well as the h100i turn on. Both GPU's don't turn on, and 3 other case fans do not turn on.

Some oddities that i've noticed is that the h100i cooler changes from white(default) to blue(which is what i set it to) as if windows has somehow loaded. The fans also don't stay at max like they normally would when i don't boot into windows.

I have crucial ballistic tactical tracer LED ram sticks, the base of those light up showing that it is receiving power, but the LEDs on top do not light up.

There are no motherboard beeps or error codes to report of. I want to blame a dead PSU but if anyone else has suggestions im willing to take them.

Sounds like your overclock is failing and causing your system to not boot. I would disable your OC and see if it continues.
Remove one of the video cards and reset the BIOS to default settings (if possible after removing card to remove OC) and report back to us if the issue is still occurring. I agree with HEXiT, the PSU sounds like it could be damaged.

If removing one card doesn't resolve the issue, remove both.

Without trying any of that the PC just did a full boot. I pressed the power button once, it flashed for a brief second, shut down and then restarted into a full boot. Everything is currently functioning as if nothing happened. Do you think this still warrants a PSU replacement to be on the safe side?

Also, just so you're aware the 970 SLI requires 665W of power. With your CPU overclocked, you're most likely exceeding that limit which is causing you issues (http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2311121/power-supply-requirements-nvidia-gpus.html).

Yea i accidentally selected your suggestion as the best solution, but i think the system may just be pushing the 750W power supply. I have 9 fans, 2 970s(gigabyte) 4 SSDs and an HDD, along with the h100i. Everything is overclocked hard, including the RAM. What wattage PSU would you recommend?
