Question PC won't go past boot splash screen with second SSD installed ?

I am trying to install my Samsung 860 EVO into my PC. My PC works perfectly fine with just my original SSD installed but when I try to connect the second SSD, it freezes at the boot splash screen and I can't enter the BIOS.

Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix B550-F Gaming
First SSD: Samsung 860 QVO

If I try to connect the second SSD after the startup, it doesn't show up anywhere. I had it working before but trying to initialize it, a troubleshooting guide had me uninstall the device inside the device properties and it stopped working after that.

It didn't freeze my PC on the boot screen and also it would appear in disk management before all this happened. I tried to set it up to be able to use it but kept running into errors so I found a troubleshooting guide that basically said to uninstall the device and on restart it would reappear. After I did that, my PC just stopped working with it plugged in.
