My fairly new pc (1 1/2 years old) suddenly stopped connecting to the internet. It is connected to the router through Ethernet. I have tried unplugging it on both ends, restarting the router, and restarting the pc and nothing has changed. Two other PC's are plugged into the same router and they have internet as normal. Please help. Thanks

Solution
Try another known working Ethernet cable - maybe from one of the two working PCs.

Run the Windows 10 Troubleshooter. ["WIN" + "I" > Update & Security > Troubleshoot

Uninstall, reinstall, and reconfigure your computer's wired Ethernet adapter drivers.

Look at the entire physical path: cables, wall jacks, patch panels, etc. Does not take much to cause a connectivity problem such as you may have.

Focus on simplifying the path and eliminating possible bad connections.

Doing so does take time and effort. That is all that you, or anyone, can do.
