PC Wont load past BIOS after installing new Graphics card

I have been using my computer for a few years with a integrated Chip and today i decided i would go out and buy myself a graphics card (Nothing fancy just so i can use a HDMI lead) i installed it and booted up my PC and i got a flash of the BIOS and if i act quick enough i can enter the BIOS Setup but if i try and leave it run through it just goes to a black screen and stays there.
So i presume i had a problem with the Graphics card so i switched back over to the integrated chip and that has put me to a black screen also!
so now i have no PC what so ever! Please HELP!!
It seems like a common fault
I have made sure that all connectors are in the right places and that the VGA is in the right VGA port!

Really sorry man i cant get to them right now! But i do know that the PSU is providing enough Wattage to run all the Components and the new Graphics card!

Asus GEFORCE GT 610

not to sure about the PSU you im not in the same place as it at the moment but its 450W

64 Bit ... 1 stick of 8GB ... 2GB VRAM

The first thing I would do is verify that all power and control cables are snug, triple check them.

The next thing will be to try a different PSU if you can borrow one.

Cant get hold of a different PSU At the moment but how would that explain my problem with the integrated chip?

I haven't narrowed it down yet, other than that your rig is "compatible". What I like to do is half-split troubleshoot:

I start with your output --> failed start-up
Then the Input --> PSU

And I work from there. At the shop, a good Electronics tech will do this but he will charge you $75 whether he finds the problem or not. You could have bought a new PSU and lunch for us both by then...

What other things would you suggest trying because i have reset my BIOS checked the Boot Priority and all those things and still nothing

It's all phillips head screws. My 9 year old can do it. Really he does.
