Me and my friend sent our mate a new graphics card which he replaced with his old one, but now he isn't able to get the PC working.

He has the Asus P5K PRO motherboard and the new gpu is a GTX 760.
he has tried reinstalling windows but the screen gets up to the loading part then crashes. We are stuck and we all feel bad because were 90% sure it's our fault... Can someone please help! :( He has the old Bios. he says the computer refuses to read the usb and the CD that both have the windows 10 repair/fix software installed on them.

if we can fix this through the help of toms Hardware that would be amazing xD

Are there any beep codes while loading up?
look at the manufactors website for your Mobo and check the beep error codes.
Is your PSU supplying enough power? its an issue I ran into awhile back, my old GPU needed less power to run since it was faulty or your PSU just goes bad who knows.

can he swap back to the old card he had? See if it lets him load

He might need to update his bios to support the gpu.

do you know the parts list for pc? maybe motherboard doesn't support the card, maybe the psu doesn't have enough power to run card...
