My PC has been working fine recently and it was working well yesterday. I turned it on today and it didn't output anything to my monitor. I tried switching the ram around and using two sticks instead of 4. I tried plugging the display cable straight into the motherboard instead of my GPU. I tried using a hdmi instead of a display cable. None of that did anything.

I managed to get the monitor to work with my laptop using a hdmi, it just doesn't seem to work with my pc. My monitor is a Phillips BDM4350UC/00 43 inch

These are my PC specs

Intel core i7 7700k
Asrock 270 taichi
4x Ballistix SportLT 4gb ddr4 2400MT/s
Radeon R9 270x Sapphire tri-x toxic
Corsair RM 650

I'd be grateful for any help

take the r9 270x out and connect to the motherboard
So, I took out the graphics card like you said and had no luck but when I took it out I could see that I had a mother board error. 53, which apparently is a ram error so I put the ram in with a bit more force and it started working again.

So I went and got some food. When I came back the monitor had gone to sleep. I tried waking it up again and the same problem persists.
