Question PC wont POST after adding new ram

Hi, I have a MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX II AM4 ATX Motherboard with 2x8GB of ram, recently I got two new sticks of 8GB of ram, my old ram sticks run at 3200MHz GSkill ripjaws the new ones are the same brand 2x8GB but 3600MHz. After I install the new ones the PC won't POST the CPU indicator led lights up and then nothing, when I take them out it works fine again, did I get the wrong RAM for my board? or do I need to do something else?

Operating System	Windows 11
RAM	16 GB Gskill Ripjaws DDR4 3200Mhz

Try In bios turning off the xmp settings. Then install the ram and see if they post. If they do then try the rated xmp setting for the ram. Try 3466 not 3600.

You can even try running your 3200mhz ram at 3466. 3600mhz is not supported by motherboard.

Complete system specs, in particular CPU.

And...reset CMOS with a battery pull after putting in the new RAM.

I don't think i have it on, when i go to the bios there is a giant A-XMP button and it's off. should I turn it on?

Not until you've reset CMOS with a battery pull with the new RAM installed.

But even then you have to get it to post and run flawlessly at default ram speeds first, before enabling XMP.

give full name and model of both ram since as said 3600 is not on support list from g-skill .
