Question Pc wont post and power off does not work

Hi I have recently built a new pc, but when I tried to boot it, nothing displayed on the monitor, but all the fans and rgb turned on, and when I tried to turn the pc off it stayed on and I had to switch off the psu. No motherboard debug lights turned on.
Motherboard: asus rog strix b550a
Cpu: ryzen 5 5600
Gpu: gigabyte aero 4070
Psu: corsair rm750e
Ram: corsair cl18 ddr4 3600 MHz

obvious question: did you attach monitor to GPU and not motherboard?

shame no way to flash bios without a display on that board

Hi, yes I did attach my hdmi cable to the gpu, and I have flashed the motherboard to the newest version, thanks for the quick response!

Can you use display port on monitor? Just wondering if its somehow showing BIOS on Display Port and not HDMI.

Well I can try to use a display port cable, but I set the monitor to hdmi input
