Hi,

Have had a water cooking leak, just a a small splash, i noticed it after my CPU started running hot, so I quickly turned everything off, disconnected everything.

Have now rebuilt the computer entirely with a stock fan, cleaned everything too. But now the pc won't boot. The fans spin for a second and off.

If I take the CPU out, and boot it keeps running but no video.

I am running the Z97 with 4690K

What could be the problem? Perhaps I have had bad wiring but where could that be?

Thanks

Does your board have a Q code display or do you have a system speaker attached to the motherboard? If so, are you getting any specific codes or beeps? If you don't have a system speaker attached, it's probably a good idea to get one. In most regions they can be easily obtained online or through most repair shops for only a few dollars.

For now though, I'd check and double check everything mentioned at the following link.
