I got a new ssd and connected just the ssd to the motherboard. The ssd was recognized previously when I checked on the desktop with my HDD (with OS) and works. Only when the ssd is connected I get a black screen and cannot enter bios. When I plug the old HDD (with OS) back it works fine. Problem occurs when no drives is plugged in as well. I'm sure it's not my connections as it works with the old HDD.
