Hi guys, any advice on this issue or the best direction to start would be great.
Let me start by saying that the PC has been fine for about a year. The last few months I have had this issue.
The issue happens either when waking from sleep or powering on after it has been shut down.
First happened when waking from sleep the computer cut out and then wouldn't post. The Red led check lights move around get stuck on VGA Led and it cuts out again only to restart and do the same again until I power it off manually.
I have previously resolved this issue by reseating the ram on one occasion or by removing and reinserting the cmos battery. The PC would then work fine for another week or 2 again before the issue would reoccur. This time I can't get it to work at all.
So with it getting stuck on the VGA led I have removed the graphics card. Same issue - stuck on vga led and cuts out.
-removed and reinserted the cmos battery
-reseated the ram and tried with just one stick in the recommended slot
-motherboard is on latest bios(something I had done previously after getting it working to try and get it to not come back)
