Hello,
Put this in the GPU thread, as I am fideling with the GPU to get this working..
The case:
My PC has been working great for 6 years now, and about 12 months ago I installed a gtx 1080.
Yesterday I ran into this problem where it refused to post (and gave no codes, no beeps)
I therefore plugged out the power to my GPU but left it in the PCI-E slot, and tried to post. and that worked!
I then reconnected the GPU to the PSU, and... it posted, booted, and all is good.
Today (about 20 mins ago) I started it up again, and had the same issue, and it refused to post or give any codes/beeps.
I did the exact same thing as last night and disconnected the GPU from the PSU, started it-> got it to post-> shut it down-> reconnected GPU to PSU -> and it posts just fine.
So the question is;
which part is dying here, Motherboard, GPU og PSU? ^^
specs;
motherboard: Asus M6E
cpu: i7 4770k
gpu: gtx 1080
psu: corsair ax760i platinum
