[SOLVED] pc wont post on 1st boot attempt

i have a booting issue after i upgraded cpu. i updated to the newest bios before upgrading the cpu. after the upgrade my pc wont post upon trying to boot, the fans will spin and rgb comes on but the pc wont post. i have to reset the psu then power on the pc and it works. did i do something wrong? ill list my specs below
new Ryzen 7 5800x
b550 aorus elite v1
ddr4 ram 3600mhz cl18
acer 500gb nvme ssd
rtx 3060
600w psu
id cooling 240 aio

Did you reset CMOS? it must be done after hardware...CPU and memory in particular...changes.

yes reset cmos, reseated the cpu, ram and gpu

no mine doesnt have those, just weird it was fine with my other cpu, ryzen 5 3600. when i installed the cpu i did get a message i was unsure of. a ftpm/psp message, i pushed "y" not really knowing what any of it means

You said earlier it wouldn't POST on first so that doesn't make sense.

Will it go into BIOS at all? Even if after a CMOS reset?

yea earlier it wouldnt post at 1st attempt, i would have to power off by psu and boot then it worked, but after i took the cmos battery out for 5 minutes, put it back in and now it wont post at all, im trying to flash bios onto it right now maybe it will work?

also tried moving cpu ram gpu onto a different mobo and psu and it worked no problem, so maybe its my mobo or psu?

im not too sure on the model just know its a corsair but i think im good now, i flashed bios to a version before the newest one and everything seems to be working good/normal so far, no boot issues. thanks for the replies good to know theres ppl willing to help
