PC wont post

i ordered a motherboard a while back and when it came in the pc would not start, the led on the board would light up but the pc wouldn't post or even show signs of power. so i tried a different psu but the same thing occurred. i re seated the ram, gpu, and cpu but no luck. so i sent it back and decided to buy a different board, but now that the board is here i installed it but i have the same problem . can i please get some help ?
