Hi there, so I've just installed some custom water cooling and did a leak test for about an hour, and because I have work to do i.e. an exam in 2 days, I decided that was sufficient for now, of course I'd still keep an eye on it though.
I'd also installed a new PSU and proceeded to install all the cables etc... Then booted the system but after a second it rebooted. Took out 3 RAM sticks and then it booted and ran fine, it turns out I've managed to kill a stick 🙁 I then plugged in the monitor, booted but got no POST at all, the monitor didn't even give a green light, so I switched to the onboard and got the same problem. I then pulled out all the cables from the PSU and left just the CPU and mobo cord in. It booted but still no POST, if I leave it on for a while, maybe 5 mins it just shuts down.
I decided it might be a PSU problem, so connected the old one with just the CPU, mobo and pump cord (didn't want the CPU to overheat), but still not getting POST at all. Its really bugging me and I really need to get some revision done. Could anyone offer some ideas to try?
Thanks
EDIT: Just thought I'd add, I get no BIOS beep codes either, not ever, even when I had the bad RAM stick in. There is a speaker installed too, just never gets used.
