Yesterday I went and made a new build. Everything went perfect till the water cooler was added. I have the system up and running but with stock heatsink. I know that's not going to cut it in the long run. I have tried installing the AIO twice an the LEDS will come on but the system won't power up. After removing only the AIO and placing the Stock fan in the system starts up link normal.

Has anyone else came across this before?

As of now my conclusion is that there must be a short in the pump power wire that goes to the CPU fan connector. As with my Datacenter experience has shown the is the mobo can't detect a CPU fan then it won't power on. I'm not up for the idea or tricking the mobo into thinking it has a fan the AIO acually not work. Any help would be appreciated.

turn off the cpu fan error function in your bios maybe? sounds like when you plug the h50 in the mobo isn't getting the correct voltage feedback and thinks you have no cpu cooler installed, thus protecting itself. is the h50 brand new? can you return/exchange it?
