Question Pc won't power up with card plugged in

Hi guys, my PC was doing fine and then all of a sudden shut down. It would not turn on at all. Before you say power supply , I replaced the power supply and its still doing the same thing. So I unplugged the video card from the power supply and low and behold i have power. Everything lights up with the Video card unplugged.

So the video card is dead then right? It still lights up just prevents the pc from turning on if connected to power supply. The video card is a EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti SC+ GAMING ACX 2.0+

Yep sounds like the card is dead tbh. Could be a blown mosfet or something else in the power delivery.

Could you list the rest of the specs?
Also do you have another GPU you can try?

I would say its the GPU, but if you have another card you can put in, it would eliminate the Slot in the Motherboard.
Also if you have a spare slot, can you move the GPU card to that and test it?
