Pc wont read/regonize usb device

Hey, I have a problem with my Usb Port in my pc, it wont read it and Cant find it. I have a new Computer and windows 10. Do I need to install some usb driver ?

Have a look in the Device Manager under Universal Serial Bus Controllers and see if there are any warning icons (yellow exclamation marks) next to any of them. If so, right click on them and choose update driver software.

I have checked that and all my drivers is latest update(the best driver sofware for your device is already installed). I got my computer a week ago. everything is very new actually. this is not the only problem i have. have also problem with micophone(only working properly in skype) but i can make another post for that 😛

is this a laptop? i only ask as most new pc have about 20 USB slots so since you seem to be talking about it in a singular fashion, I thought I would ask.

if its more than one, your microphone question could be related unless it doesn't use USB...

try running driver booster and see if it finds any newer drivers from Intel and maybe Asmedia, the drivers on the Gigabyte site are all from last year.

So only slots that work are the USB 2 ones? so mouse/keyboard work but nothing else or is it more selective than that?

The strange thing that it now can read it, but it takes like 5 minutes to show up, why is it taking so long ? it should come Automaticly. and if I use the Logitech usb portal to connect ther headset it wont work, it will connect if I plug it in the Pc.
