PC won't recognize ethernet cable

Hello!
I turned on my PC today and the internet didn't work.
The cable is connected but it shows on the PC like there is no cable.
- the wifi in working fine on the modem.
-the cable is working fine because I connected other computer with the same cable and modem and it worked .
-when I connect the cable to the computer he doesn't recognize it and there is no green light at the internet port when I connect it.

Tried many things but nothing worked , hope that someone can help me .

Uninstall the device from within device manager and select remove driver also. Reboot machine and allow windows to download correct driver.

any light on the Ethernet connection? the port could have failed

No there is no light at the port

try a usb to ethernet adapter.
