As the title says, My PC show's no signs of recognizing the GPU, a MSi AMD Radeon 6450 HD(R6450-MD1GD3/LP)... however, if I plugin my VGA display cord into the GPU, it still will display on the monitor...Any ideas?

PS: Also, using a program called Speccy, which shows simple things about the PC, I noticed this listed under graphics... 1024MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 7400 Series (MSI). However, what I have is the 6450...

GPU: AMD Radeon 6450 HD
CPU: AMD A4-5300B 3.4 GHz
MoBo: (Cannot find...However I do know it has two PCI-E ports...)

If anything else is needed, please ask.
Thank you.

I believe the HD 6450 and 7450 are the same thing internally, AMD just renamed the 6450 to make it sound like a new model. This could explain why a program like Speccy would refer to them as one or the other.

Your computer does recognize your videocard, which is why it works. So what I need to know is what you mean by 'not recognize'? Do you mean Windows won't let you install the drivers? Which version of Windows? Which driver?
