PC wont recognize PS4 controller

when i plug the controller in, the light comes on, although it is not recognized in devices, or on ds4 windows and also wont work in game 🙁

If you plug it in, can you see it listed in device manager? Have you tried to delete it out of device manager then rescan or see if Windows Updates can pull the drivers down?

I have since left SCP software and just connect my bluetooth dongle directly to my PS4 controller from Windows. Still works but I dont have options to customize the controller layout like I did with SCP. I may go back.
