Recently I build a new PC. For it i snagged a 2TB internal hard drive, but now i have the problem that my PC doesn't recognise it. Or in fact it DOES recognise it in the bios and storage manager, but when i try to initiate it it wont do it. My SSD however is being recognised.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

no i have not. could you try to explain how to do it because i looked around and found nothing about both of those

yes and than right-click on the drive and initialize it, right? but that doesn't work :/
it tells me, and i quote: The specified disk can not be converted because the size is smaller than the required minimum size for GPT disks

and when i try to make it an MBR it tells me: Can not perform the command due to an error in an I / O device.

any idea what this means?

You need to format it first

How do you do that? Just so we're on the same page, it does NOT have that black bar in the drivermenu that says unallocated. just a white space "disc 0 unknown not initialized"
