I am new to building computers. I have gotten help from friends from work and have asked them question after question.

I have all of the parts i need and everything is plugged in and working. When i turned on the computer the only noises were from the case fans. (No error beeps or anything)

No video was displayed through my HDMI cable nor the VGA cable. And upon opening up my case the brand new Heatsink fan is not spinning.

I have unplugged the Hard drive and dvd satas and power cables from motherboard (friend told me to try that out first) still nothing

Heatsink is plugged into CPUfan1 and doesnt work but when i plug into sysfan1 it does spin but still no video.

Specs which are all brand now out the box 4 days ago.

Mobo - MSI H110M gaming motherboard
Cpu -
Intel Core i7 6700K 4.00 GHz
Ram - 2x8 gb Corsair Vengeance
PSU - 750 watt kentek
With a 1TB Hard drive.

Everything is new and the PC has never booted up enough to put on the drivers for motherboard or the Microsoft 10 OS i bought the other day.

Upon reading different threads ive tried unplugging power cord and holding the power button down for over a minute - nothing; as well as the possibility of me shorting the motherboard by not touching the metal of the case which isnt possible because i was very adament about that.

Everything is brand new and was babyed until i was going to put it together

Also i have checked to make sure no cables hinder the heatsinks fan.

Need help. Please and Thank you

Solution
Top of the board, there's a black 4 pin connector. Make sure that you've connected the power cable to it, and the 24 pin one, of course.

Thank you for responding so fast. I know the connector youre referring to. The issue is i cant seem to find which cable from PSU has only 4 pins. There just isnt one. Do i just get a 6 pin one and fit it in there?

You're welcome.
