Hey,
I bought a new Samsung 8gb 1333 2rx4 pc3 10600r When i install it the pc won't start and beeb's 3 times
My old 4gb ram is just working fine and the pc boot with it
I have tried to install the new ram stick in the two motherboard slots and still dosn't work
I have tried to remove bios battery for 5 min and rest bios as well
And make every bios update on the website but still nothing
My motherboard is gigabyte h61m s2b and the website tells that the mobo can take 16gb ram at 1333 frequency
I'am very confused about it and spent a whole night trying to resolve this issue
My spec is
Cpu i5 3470
Gpu sapphire r9 290 tri-x
Gigabyte h61m s2b
1tb wd hdd
4gb Kingston 1333 ram

First thing to clarify, are you trying to run the machine with both the 4gb and the 8gb sticks installed? If so then try with *only the 8gb module*. Different manufacturers memory have slightly different timings and so on so the two modules may not be compatible. Also I know that 8gb modules can be tricky for older machines. If you can't get it to work your best option might be to return the 8gb module and buy another kingston 4gb instead...
