I have Intel Board DZ77BH-55k, and I was updating Bios one day. During the update, my dad turned off the tower while I went out of the room. Well that completely messed everything up. It started by not powering on completely. I have tried clearing CMOS. I have tried recovery Bios, with CD, and USB. When I press the power button, it turns on, like normal, fans run and all. But when the POST code 14 shows up, it turns off. But then once all the fans have stopped, it turns on, and repeats the previous over again. When I tried using the recovery bios, it did what it was supposed to, turned off, but then it turned back on and restarted it all over again. when I press the power button to stop the cycle, it will beep long beeps, and the post code 10 displays until it powers down, I have even talked to the Intel technician on getting a replacement, but I decided to check here to see if anyone knew anything.

Provided you have the correct file on your USB thumb drive, it appears that there is an extra jumper on Intel's board that is being called the BIOS config jumper that needs to be removed for it to begin it's recovery process. Hope this helps.

This link has a great breakdown of the layout of your motherboard, and will help you find the BIOS configuration jumper block labelled MM on the diagram:

Also, if you don't watch the whole video, they say you may not receive video updates, and recovery can fail, depending upon the particular fault, and you should give the machine at least 5 minutes to complete the task, whether you see anything on screen or not. Once you start the procedure, don't interrupt it (again.)

Hi there, if the solution above won't work please try the next steps to narrow the possibilities:
* Unplug all the cables including the power cable.
* Press the power button (while the power cable is disconnected) - just to release the remaining power.
* Unplug all the additional hardware (RAM, HDD/SSD, GPU etc')
* Now clear the CMOS.
* Plug back ONLY 1 module of RAM and the OS HDD, nothing more.
* Plug back only the power, mouse+keyboard and the monitor cable into the HDMI/DVI/VGA port in the back f your motherboard.
Now power up your PC and please update me on this if you can..
