Hey, so my PSU seemed to be fried a couple of weeks ago, for a second time this year. So i went ahead and replaced it.. Installed it and my pc dosen't start at all now and im not sure why. The pc was on sleep mode, before it got fried like i always put it.. so idk if that messed something else up too.

So it wont start at all, and im suspecting the motherboard maybe got fried too.. but not sure. Tried pressing red button on motherboard several times by no signs of life from it.

Thanks, hope someone can help :)

Edit:
Don't know how it fried, had it on sleep mode and when i came back to wake it up it turned out PSU wasn't working.

My specs btw

Mobo: Gigabyte z97x gaming gt.

CPU: i7 4790k

CPU cooler: Corsair h110 gt

Ram: corsair dominator 16gb 1866mhz

Storage; 2x 250gb samsung 850 in raid 0 and 1,5tb hdd.

Case: phanteks enthoo primo

PSU: Corsair hx1000i
(Its the same as old, i did a RMA)

GPU: MSI R9 290 twin frozr

Solution
Time to strip things to basic build. Remove and disconnect everything but CPU, cooler, 1 stick of ram and PSU. Disconnect all case cables too. Try booting this build.

Theres no switch, and i got the same PSU as the first one that fried, a corsair hx1000i, did a RMA.
So basically when i got it, i just plugged the cables in how it used to be.

Good news is, PSU like this is not very likely damage other components when failing.
I suspect bad wiring or something like this. Double check all connections esp power cables and power switch cable. Guide below to consult whenever in doubt.

Yeah, i went ahead and checked all the cables once i installed it again, since i had the same PSU before and all the cables were already in the PC as it was fully working before.
Should i replace all the cables too ?, as one of the cables may have broke when it PSU fried.
Last time it fried, and literally exploded in front of me.. everything was undamaged thoe, so i got a little worried this time.

Replaced all cables connected to PSU, these were mostly CPU cables and GPU cables, and also some storage cables.
But still no life from it, really confused at this moment because CPU is still not really showing any life after trying red power button on it.
