I turned my pc on, the fans and lights were working but I don't get a display. I tried resocketing the GPU and ram but nothing happened. My mouse and keyboard are RGB so since they wouldn't light up then is ok to rule out GPU failure? Anyway any suggestions.

Hardware: i3-7400
Ram 8gb
Psu FSP HyperK 500w
GPU gtx 1050
Edit: Motherboard Biostar Z270GTN racing

Edit: I forgot to mention when it power on, it briefly starts and then restarts, after that it just stays on (the lights and fans ).

Can you connect your monitor to the motherboard integrated display port and test?
Motherboard only supports hdmi and VGA. I don't have the cable for that. All I have is a display port cable.
Though when I tried to boot it without the GPU it didn't restart briefly like last time but both my keyboard and mouse still don't turn on (RGB).

Ryzen is very particular about ram compatibility.
What is the exact part number of the ram you are using?
Memory support depends on the cpu controller. Supported memory may differ between your 1X00 processor and your 5xxx processor:
https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/B450M-MORTAR-MAX/support#mem

Page 36 of your user manual describes the led debug lights:

What do you see there?
Your photo obscures the location.
Who said this is a Ryzen system?
And the picture shows an Intel boxed cooler.

What's the storage? SSD, HDD or both?
What if you remove the storage and try to boot into BIOS?

A HDMI cable is easy to get. Remove the GPU and connect the monitor to the motherboard.

OOPS. Don't know why I was thinking of ryzen

I was confused about the post I was working on.
Ryzen post has been deleted.

See if you can find the name of the motherboard.
It should be printed on the motherboard somewhere.
Then we can see where the debug lights are and what they mean.
They are likely on the edge that is obscured by cables.

I have an SSD for my OS and a HDD for storage. I don't think removing it would matter since nothing displays in the screen and both my mouse and keyboard don't seem to work
