I built my PC two days ago and everything (including temps) has seemed fine, until today when it crashed while I was browsing on Chrome. When I try to power on the system I can see the LED lights on my fans blink for less than a second before it shuts off. I have tried unplugging the 24 pin and 8 pin power connectors from the motherboard and PSU and plugging them back in, and I have also tried reseating the RAM and GPU. Please help. :??:

The components I am running are as follows:

Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor
Phanteks PH-TC12DX_BK 68.5 CFM CPU Cooler
MSI Z170A GAMING M7 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR4-2400 Memory
Samsung 840 EVO 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
MSI GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB Video Card
EVGA 850W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

Solution
Try the card in the second PCIe slot, see if any change in behavior. Also try a few different PSU connections, go to VGA cables at the PSU side and try in different headers (if you haven't already, just to ensure the PSU isn't the problem). If still nothing, I would conclude the graphics card is faulty.

I reset CMOS and took out my GPU, the system booted from the onboard graphics just fine. I have tried reseating my GPU multiple times but the issue arises each time. Could my GPU be dead?
