pc wont start

I came go home and when to turn on my pc but would not turn on. so I try unplugging everything and pluging back it back in. Still did't wont. So then I did the psu test where you take the paper clip in the 24 pin the psu started up. then i put everything back together and i just started flash on and off. I think its my motherboard is but I dont want to spend money something that is not broken
