For some time i had some problems with my pc like freezing, blue screens and not recognizing the hdd or disk errors so I changed the hdd and it's been working fine until yesterday when i got some blue screens while in a game of LOL. Today, when I started my pc, continous beeps from the dvd rom could be heard from 2 to 2 seconds( not like a bad hdd beep but as if the dvd rom was loading something ) and the monitor wouldn't even turn on. I left it for about 5 mins but still no result just that kind of sound from the dvd rom and the turned off monitor. What could it be?

Well If the system was pre built.
And its is a few years old. the most likely cause to all of your problems of freezing.
And then hard drives not working or being detected, and the DVD rom drive beeping.

Will be down to the power supply in the system.
Has the system ever froze on you as well, or locked up. or randomly reset or restarted while in use metaxabas.

Because all of it points to a power supply problem.
If you can look at the power supply unit in the system.

Find out it`s brand name, how many watts it can provide, and what the amp rating is for the 12v power rail of the power supply unit. and the model number of the power supply.
How old would you say the system or power supply was metaxabas in years ?

Post back with the information on here.

Ok, sorry for the being late. It's true, i got some energy problems in the zone i live ( energy fluctuations, i don't know the word i am not english ). So, I started my PC again and i ejected the dvd rom and inserted again and the monitor went on and i got the following "error" even before getting to the windows logo: "Detecting drives, please wait" and a little lower "press any key to continue..." I pressed random keys but nothing happened, it stood like that. I left it for about 5 minutes and no progress so I turned the PC off. Now,about 10-12 hours later, I tried starting the PC and no problem, I wrote this answer from my PC. I wonder what was all of this because I am tired of all kind of problems since I got the PC. It took so much to realize my earlier problems were because of the HDD. Nevermind, yesterday, my UPS (I don't know how it's called in english-it's that thing connected to the PC which kind of like levels the energy level that goes in and out of the PC or something like that) started beeping suddenly and then the PC restarted i think (it does when it's a problem) and I thought that might be something. Any ideas what i should be doing in future? I'm afraid the problem might not be solved. And,yes, @Shaun o i did encounter sudden restarts or freezes, especially in-game. The PC is almost 2 years old.
Edit: As i was in a match of LOL i encountered a blue screen and then the problem came back. Amazing !
