Hi have problem with new build not starting.

Have I7-7700K CPU, MSI Z170A SLI MB, Cooler Master Hyper 103 Cooler, Geforce GTX 1080 GPU, Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB Ram
Connected CPU, Fan , RAM and GPU to test board working but getting no beep, just silence with Memory in any slots and not getting any signal from GPU on HDMI or DVI.
Have tried without GPU installed just CPU, Fan RAM, same outcome
Anyone help?

Solution
Hi, just to let you know, issue solved by changing motherboard to z270 chipset motherboard. Z170 mb will work with i7-7700 but mb needs flashing first

Thanks to everyone for your comments and help, much appreciated

If you've built 2 systems and they both have the same issue, I would say it is a problem on your end. This might seem dumb but my best friend had this problem, are you by chance forgetting to hit the power button? My friend turned the PSU on and didn't hit the power button on the front of the case which had the same issue as you are.

I've had components in a case and have breadboarded as well, same problem. When in case all case cables were wired up and power button pressed. There's power there as fans and lights are on. Have tried without ram and get three long beeps, put ram in and get silence, no beeps. Have tried multi combinations with ram in different slots and have used second lot of ram for second pc also. Psu is 600w

It's a brand new i7-7700k cpu LGA 1151, don't know bios revision as have got no video output to check, both PC's have exactly the same components, ram, chip, motherboard, CPU fan and gpu and psu

I would honestly try flashing the bios. If you don't have an extra skylake CPU lying around you can get one for pretty cheap around ebay, or go to your local PC store and see if they can do it for you. I know a few will.

No problem! You might also check and see if you can do it without a CPU present. I've seen some motherboards that allow that.
