Pc wont start

Today weird things happened .. Last night i shut down my pc normally and everything was normal.Today i woke up and my pc wouldnt start.No fans nothing no motherboard noise nothing..I reset my bios with the buttin and everything is fine now but i dont know what caused the problem.last night i overclocked my gpu with msi afterburner i only gave some freq boost no higher voltage and no peonlwm at this point and a friend of mine told my that cause of that my gpu was asking for more power and thats why my motherboard wouldnt start for some safety.. i dont understand . Also there is a possibility that my current provider cut the power due to fixing some problems in the area..Can u make any sense out of this ; Thank you in advance for your time

Well do any of the power points in your house work? If yes make sure your pc is plugged in properly, psu switch is flipped on etc.

@Greko85 Thanks for your answer .. as i think i made clear my pc is working properly right now after i reset my motherboard cmos button ofc i tried switching my power supply but it didnt fix the problem.. My question here is what caused the problem .. cause i already fixed it..thanks again tho
