Hi everyone I got problem with my PC. Usually I just click on power button, pc turn off, normal. But now? I click and nothing happened, I tried it couple times, nothing changed. Power settings are okay, the settings for buttons are still same, I don’t change anything in settings. I tried also with screwdriver touch that two pins on motherboard and nothing happened. Yes, it turns off when I hold button, or screwdriver on pins, but I feel kinda bad for pc, turning him off that way.
So i think its motherboard ,,problem,, but dont know what kind of.

So do somebody know what can be wrong? Should I restart bios to default settings? Or change battery on motherboard?

You should not just physically turn off the PC. That is a last resort when nothing else will work after some freeze, crash, BSOD, etc..

The proper shutdown method is to use the built in Windows Power icon to shutdown/restart.

A normal "power icon shutdown" allows windows time to clean things up and get ready to the next boot.

Sudden power outages disrupt that process and often cause file corruption and data loss.

Start by powering down, unplugging the computer, and opening the case.

Clean out dust and debris.

Verify by sight and feel that all connectors, cards, RAM, jumpers, and case connections (including switches) are fully and firmly in place.

Use a bright flashlight to inspect for damage.

The immediate objective being to get the system back to where you can successfully shutdown and then again reboot lated without any problems.

Use "sfc /scannow" and "dism" to find and repair corrupted files:

No harm in replacing the CMOS battery if just as a matter of elimination.

And as for using a screwdriver, be very sure that that is being done correctly. Check the motherboard's User Guide/Manual. More likely there is set of pins and a jumper that should be used.

Windows provides a lot of ways to gracefully shut down...

Right click on the Windows icon on the lower left, then click on "Shut Down or Sign Out", then click on "Shut Down". If that works then you're golden.

If you want your preferred way to work...check the following settings:
Open the Control Panel (type Control Panel in the Search box)
Then find the Power Options applet
On the left side of the applet select "Choose what the Power Buttons do"
In the setting for "When I press the power button" should be set to "Shut Down".

i settings of buttons i tried switch it to something different (hibernate, turn off display)
But when i click, nothing happened.
So im gonna replace cmos battery in hope that will work 😀

That isn't the normal way to power off Windows. You can easily damage or make your windows installation fail or have funky problems like you are having. Window Start>shutdown. Or reset, hibernate. Depends on what you want to do. It is not the battery. You probably damaged the OS. Fresh install!
