Question Pc won't turn on after plugging case fans in

I was building my first pc and I had everything in and I turned it on and it worked except the case fans didn't turn on (which are plugged into psu), so I plugged the 3 pin case fan connector to the motherboard fan controller and now the pc won't turn on. I have tried unplugging everything and stuff it won't turn on anymore. Did I just fry the motherboard? I didn't smell burning or hear static.

Should we just guess what this hardware is, or do you want to fill us in with some model numbers of the build, complete?

Did you unplug the cable the tried to power up the PC again?I hope? Maybe your cable installation is incorrect. double and triple check.

I have unplugged everything and retried I tried without the 3 pin in it still doesn’t do anything

You will have to post the specs of your PC. It is a guessing game without.

Ok, so given my own recent experience with a Deepcool case, they like to mention having fans, but don't want to talk about what type of fans. I suspect these are Molex connector fans and may have had an RGB connection?

If you connected an RGB connector to a fan header that is likely to be bad news. I am not even sure you can connect them that way.

It means read the docs first before you make an expensive mistake. Read and understand the nomenclature on the motherboard before you plug the unknown in. Or get help..
