So for the last week or 2 my PC has had issues where it freezes when booting up or just hangs on the windows loading screen. It usually does this once, twice or not at all and then it boots up fine.

But today i have come to turn it on and it has taken me about 25 attempts to get it to load to windows, and when it finally has everything is sooo slow, it takes so long to do anything. I can only assume its the SSD with windows on it failing? Or could it be something else? I have managed to get a malwarebytes scan to complete just incase and that came back with nothing.

Is there anything i can do to confirm my suspicions that it is the SSD thats at fault?

What is your full system specs?
Is the ssd full?

The SSD is a Sandisk 240gb and its for 120gb free.

I have an AMD fx8359 4.03ghz
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060
WIndows 10 and Linux both on the SSD

Annoyingly i shut it down and cleaned a bit of dust out and booted it back up and it seems fine... Cant see how a bit of dust caused it to hang on startup 25 times though.
