Pc wont turn on

So, i just built a new pc with an msi h81m e33 mobo and an i3 4170 but it wont turn on. The fans dont even start spinnimg, im thinking the mobo might need a BIOS update but i dont have an older cpu.

if nothing on...is the power good led on the mb on or off?? if it off or blinking you may have a bad power supply. start with the supply...pull it and do the green wire trick see if the power supply fan turns on. if it wont the power suppy is bad. what the model of the unit you have now. if it a cx600 there known to be bad units. if the power supply passes the green wire test. pull the mb from the case. put it on top of the mb box. with just the power supply and one ram stick and no gpu see if it power on and has video. if it posts check the bios rev see how close it is to the last bios.

I tested the psu and ram on another board, they both work fine, i didnt see any leds on the mobo are you sure this one has a power led?
