So I have a msi b350 mobo, a ryzen 5 1500x, a gtx 1060 6gb, a 750w psu, a 1 tb HDD, 4gigs or ram rn and a NZXT case. I put it all together last night hoping my PC would come on and It didn't. I stayed up till 4 am this morning with my friend trying to figure out what the problem was but still no boot up. All I see is a red flickering light every time I try to turn on my PC if anyone can help please do so cuz I'm about to toss my PC out the window.

I have the mobo out of the case with the CPU, CPU cooler, 24 and 8 pin now what?

on the mb user guild check to see if that red led was the power good led. if it was you may have a bad power supply or the mb is dead shorted to the mb tray and the power suppyl sees the dead short and wont turn on.
start with the power supply pull it see if the green wire trick will make it turn on. if the unit does not turn on...dead unit. if it turns on if you have a volt meter check the outputs. with the motherboard make sure you uses 8/9 standoffs to keep the mb from hitting the mb tray and shorting out. using the wrong screws will also short the mb out.

i might have to do that sadly. I have enough money to buy another mobo to see if the msi mobo was the problem. I will be trying a gigabyte mobo this time and hopefully this works if not then i'll take it to a pc store and see whats up from there. Thanks for the help though i was stressing my balls out last night and i still am but at least i might be sure of whats going on
