Hi gang! So I removed my original cooler that came with this prebuilt PC and tried to replace it with an AMD Wraith Prism. While removing the cooler, the CPU was also yanked out and my idiot self dropped in into the case so now there are some bent pins. When I first placed the chip in there was no light or power, upon re-installation a light is now present from the motherboard but the PC still isn't turning on. This is a newly purchased PC btw: CyberPowerPC GMA3200BST.

Ouch 😬

If the pins are still bent you can ever so carefully bend them back and it should work just fine.

If you mean you've already done that and you're still getting nothing, try making them as straight as possible. I would do this without fear of repercussions as it will not pass any in-depth warranty check..

Failing that, and assuming you're a model citizen by not attempting to return it, you'll be just fine with an R5 2600 as a replacement.

Best of luck sir!
