Hi, my PC won't boot when I click the power button. When I click the power button, the only thing that turns on is the fans to my power supply. This is the first PC I have built and it has been a nightmare. For the first couple of months of when I had it, it worked completely fine. After a while, however, it would randomly shut off. I suspected it was the power supply so I got a new one to replace it. It seemed to do the trick for the first couple of weeks but then it started to randomly shut off again. When it shuts off, my graphics card's fans would spin very fast. Random crashes happen often. Today, my PC seems to have shut off for good.

PC Specs:'

AMD Ryzen 5 2600 3.4 GHz 6-Core Processor

Asus ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING ATX AM4 Motherboard

Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory

Western Digital Caviar Blue 1 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

Seagate Barracuda Compute 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

Western Digital Blue 500 GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive

MSI GeForce RTX 2060 6 GB VENTUS OC Video Card

NZXT H500 ATX Mid Tower Case

Corsair CXM 550 W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply

If anyone can tell me how to fix this or give me any advice that would be very much appreciated.

Solution
  1. If you oc the cpu or the RAM, reset them first.
  2. Remove one stick RAM, the two HDDs, only use the M2 SSD, clear the CMOS, boot the PC to see what happens.
  3. If you get the same problem, try other GPU if you have an extra GPU.

Otherwise, ask your friend or local PC for help.
