My pc wont turn on. I had a small poweroutage for a few seconds while the pc was turned on and now it won't start. I press the power button and nothing happens. However the mobo rgb is on, so I don't think it's the power supply.
I tried a using a new button as well so it's not the switch.

I'm not sure if this is relevant but for a while now something strange happens evertime I switched on the pc. When I press the power button it turns on, fans start spinning the. It looses power completely. A few seconds later it turns on as though nothing happened.
I was able to live with this but now it's not turning on at all, no fans no boot just mobo rgb
Please help

It's a short. If that brown out happened exactly as you powered on your PC; in lightened words: YOUR <Mod Edit>. That short shut off and back on sign was just cuz the BIOS detected something and restarted the process. But what you indicated is that as soon as it powered on; few seconds later it would power off; means a short or something discharged and shorted. Now that you say it won't power on at all means something internal isn't working or there's not enough power or something isn't working properly besides the Mobo. Might I suggest breadboarding it; test it out of the box with different scenarios or do a power cycled short aka draining power. Turn of the power from the PC/flip the PSU switch off; unplug it from the wall; remove the CMOS battery from the Mobo then hold the power button for a good few seconds to a minute to discharge excess power from it; seat the CMOS back in; replug & see if your PC turns on. If not than I think I worded it wrong cuz it worked for me at one time so . . . it just so happened that during that little brown it might have cause on overvoltage of power or something . . . don't worry . . . this <Mod Edit> happens.............................
