PC won't work...

So I was done with my first build around two weeks ago...I tried booting the system and it didn't work.
The only thing I saw was a red light on the motherboard.I thought that it wasn't working becuse I got 3200Mhz ram,but the mb can only support up to 2666Mhz.So today I got my new ram,and when I tried booting it up nothing happens only the red light on the motherboard is working.I am sure I've connected all the cables well.The only thing I think that causes the problem is the CPU because when I was installing it(ryzen cpu),I forgot to move that little metal thing up and I installed the cooler just to realise that I didn't instal the CPU correctly...I fixed it after that...
Please anyone help me I would really appreciate it.

Man, and that’s a rather expensive setup. Make sure you refer to the mobo manual for reference to the light. If that doesn’t help, reply back.

May I suggest that you check the case connections that connect to the motherboard, also the cpu fan header
